 - Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse General Manager to oversee warehouse operations and in-house modification processes at our Covington, Georgia facility. This role is responsible for leading all aspects of warehouse operations, logistics, inventory control, and value-added modification activities including painting, machining, printing, and packaging.

The ideal candidate will possess exceptional organizational, logistical, and operational leadership skills, with proven experience managing both traditional warehouse functions and light manufacturing or modification processes. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring active involvement on the warehouse floor to ensure accuracy, efficiency, quality, and safety across all operations.

[Compensation Flexibility] While the base range is $90k–$100k, salary is flexible and will be adjusted upward to reflect the candidate's depth of experience (DOE), particularly in logistics, warehouse leadership, and modification/manufacturing operations.

 - Key Responsibilities

Operational Excellence: Extensive knowledge of daily warehouse operations (logistics, shipping/receiving, inventory control, distribution).

Modification Oversight: Direct oversight of in-house modification processes (painting, machining, packaging).

Quality & Safety: Ensure all activities meet company standards, customer specifications, and safety requirements.

Hands-on Leadership: Actively engaged on the floor; leading by example rather than managing solely from an office.

Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to optimize SOPs to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and on-time delivery.

Workflow Coordination: Synchronize warehouse operations and modification processes to minimize bottlenecks.

HR Management: Basic knowledge of Georgia employment laws, including staff management, PIPs, and evaluations.

Financial Oversight: Manage budgets, operating costs, labor planning, and resource utilization with a creative problem-solving mindset.

Travel Requirement: Up to two weeks of travel to California for training and leadership collaboration.

 - Qualifications

Experience: Minimum 3+ years of proven, hands-on leadership experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or modification environment.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management or a related field preferred.

Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to collaborate with executive leadership.

Core Skills: Strong problem-solving, multitasking, delegation, and decision-making skills.
